Col d’Orcia’s Denomination of Origin wines are entirely produced with grapes grown in our own vineyards on the Sant’Angelo hill. Careful and respectful cultivation techniques ensure the production of high-quality grapes. Aging takes place mostly in large Slavonian and Allier oak casks. Attention to detail characterizes the entire winemaking process.

On the clay-rich, limestone soils surrounding Podere Nastagio, an 8-hectare Sangiovese vineyard was planted in 2006. This exceptional site gives rise to Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Nastagio, a wine that expresses the distinctive character and elegance of this unique terroir.
At the heart of the estate, Count Alberto Marone Cinzano identified the ideal location in 1974 for planting Col d’Orcia’s finest Sangiovese vineyard. This exceptional site became the birthplace of Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio al Vento, the estate’s flagship wine and a benchmark for longevity and complexity.
“Fosso delle Bandite” is the place name from which Vigna Banditella takes its name. The project was conceived in 1989 and fully developed in 1998, giving rise to a vineyard that consistently produces a Rosso di Montalcino of remarkable character and authenticity.
The first of Col d’Orcia’s Super Tuscans, Olmaia is a historic Cabernet Sauvignon cru. It was the last vineyard planted by Count Alberto Marone Cinzano, in 1984, and remains a distinctive expression of the estate’s pioneering spirit and commitment to excellence.
